Klever Kitten is a 15-year brand universe that I built from the ground up.
Klever Kitten began as a response to a gap in the market—a lack of stationery and specialty gifts for adults who had outgrown the sweetness of Hello Kitty but still craved character-driven design. What started as a product idea evolved into something larger: a fully realized personality with cultural edge, emotional range, and commercial potential.
Over time, Klever Kitten moved beyond merchandise. She became a presence. A point of view. A character with longevity. She isn’t just a feline. She’s an attitude—and the foundation of a scalable character cosmos.

Greeting cards and gift wrap barely scratch the surface. Klever Kitten isn’t a paper-goods brand. She’s a lifestyle.
We’re talking candles. Toiletries. Magnets. Enamel pins. Plush. Accessories. Limited-edition drops. The kind of objects that feel giftable, collectible, and slightly addictive.
And of course, stickers with sassy one-liners like: “Men make passes at kittens who wear glasses.”
The goal isn’t just product expansion. It’s emotional attachment. Everyday touchpoints. A character that lives on your desk, in your bag, on your mirror....

Every icon needs a supporting cast. Meet the Klever Kitten Krew.
There’s Kool Kat—hopelessly devoted and permanently in the friend zone (for now). Loyal, romantic, and just self-aware enough to know he’s outta Klever Kitten’s league. Frisky Feline, Klever Kitten’s ride-or-die, lives life at full volume. She’s flirtatious, fearless, and one cocktail away from texting her ex. Pissy Pussykat is moody, medicated, and radically honest about both. She feels everything deeply and judges accordingly. And then there’s Tricky Tomkat—shameless yet harmless, and permanently circulating at the hottest parties in town. Unfortunately for him, most of the numbers he collects are fake.
Once Klever Kitten is fully established, the Krew rolls out. Watch out, Hello Kitty and Friends.
THE FUTURE
My makeshift illustration skills could only take Klever Kitten so far. Klever Kitten was cute, but she wasn’t launch-a-merch-line cute. And if she was going to stand out in a world full of kitties, she needed more than vibes. She needed wardrobe. Attitude. Accessories. Ankles.
So I brought in an illustrator.
Out came a sleeker, slightly more sensual Klever Kitten—with refined curves, proper hind legs, and yes…a correctly oriented nose (mine had been upside-down for an embarrassingly long time).
The moment she slipped into signature clothing and jewelry, everything clicked. She wasn’t just a drawing anymore. She had presence. She had POV. She had main-character energy.
One kitty down. Four more to go. The universe is expanding. 🐾
