My client gave me specific instructions when choosing their stock photos — avoid all imagery of women in mid-facial, and don't reference elements in balance, like a Zen garden. With those perimeters in mind, I was inspired by the lush garden outside their San Francisco spa-front. I found some gorgeous floral graphics that I scattered throughout their website with photographed objects from their trade (e.g., tweezers, masks, etc.). Their logo of a woman's visage made up of flowers and branches brings the garden concept full circle.
